I had the recent experience of going to the Peterborough CVS for a vaccine booster shot. As I sat waiting my turn, I was taken aback by the constant telephone calls over the speaker, the people queuing up for various shots, vaccine, flu, boosters, COVID tests and just the general busyness of all the employees.
I feel a debt of gratitude for all of the hardworking CVS employees who have been there for us throughout the pandemic. I am imagining their jobs have grown as pharmacies become a critical medical resource during the pandemic. Thank you. And thank you to the Shaw’s employees, our teachers, our first-responders, EMTs and all employees who have kept our wonderful community safe, healthy and vibrant during a most unprecedented time, at least in my lifetime.
