John Humiston Post No. 11 American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 5613 and the Town of Jaffrey invite citizens of Jaffrey and the surrounding towns to a Veterans Day parade and ceremony Thursday, Nov. 11.
The parade of veterans will assemble at Jaffrey’s Blake Street parking lot at 10:15 a.m. and step off at 10:30 a.m. to march to the Town Common. The ceremony will include a prayer, the laying of a wreath, an address delivered by Air Force veteran Donald Upton and the playing of the national anthem.
All veterans who have served, and those who are still serving, are invited to march.
