Raffle calendars for this year’s New Ipswich Congregational Church Children’s Fair are currently on sale.
The calendars can be bought for $10, with prizes listed for every day of the month of August, all worth at least $25. All of the calendars will be numbered consecutively, and when a number is drawn, all winners will be returned to the drawing for the chance to win more than once.
The Children’s Fair, which originally began as a way to support troops in the Civil War and now serves as outreach for the Congregational Church, will be held on Aug. 21 this year.
The calendar raffle was a success in its first year, with more than 430 calendars sold.
