Celebrate the Fourth of July with Lonesome Train playing lively blues, country, and rockabilly selections and featuring Francestown’s own Tony Ludwig.
This highly acclaimed local band from Hillsborough will be performing at the Old Meeting House for the first time.
Lonesome Train consists of a group of six accomplished musicians who are well known in the local music scene and have been involved with numerous nationally and internationally known bands. Their performance vocals are accompanied by a mix of saxophone, harmonica, drums, and lead guitar and rhythm guitar.
Bring your dancing shoes, lawn chairs or blankets, and enjoy lively “American” music on the lawn at the Old Meeting House at 4 p.m. on
Sunday, July 4. Admission is $15 and children under 15 are free.
Guests who aren’t fully vaccinated are requested to please wear a mask. In case of rain the show will move inside the Old Meeting House.
After the show the Francestown Village Store will make burgers and more available.
This event is the eighth of the “Sundays at 4” series which has brought music, art, and history programs to Francestown. The series continues until Sept. 19.
