A Jaffrey man reported minor injuries after his car hit a tree outside of 74 Concord St. in Peterborough Wednesday night.
Police were summoned to the scene at 11:25 p.m., Police Chief Scott Guinard said, after a gray 2014 Ford Focus operated by Sean Roberts, 20, of Jaffrey, hit a tree after Roberts fell asleep and drifted off the road while traveling southbound. The vehicle was towed with significant front-end damage, Guinard said. Roberts reported a minor knee injury but refused a ride to the hospital, and the tree was also damaged, he said.
