RindgePlanning board continues hearing for development

The Rindge Planning Board continued a public hearing on a proposed large development until January during its Tuesday meeting.

The board opened the hearing, continued from its meeting last month, for the sole purpose of voting to continue the proceedings.

The development, proposed by Navian Development seeks to build 26 single-family units, 16 three-bedroom units in four, four-unit buildings, and 24 two-bedroom units in four, six-unit buildings on Route 119.

Sixteen of those units โ€“ 10 in the multi-family buildings and six single-family homes โ€“ are planned to be workforce housing.

The hearing was continued until the Planning Boardโ€™s next scheduled meeting on Jan. 5 at the Rindge Recreation Building.
