The groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation and restoration of the Peterborough Town Library will be held virtually in early June.
Since groups cannot gather at the library at this time, folks are invited to take photos and short video clips of their family, kids, or even pets or shoot a short 5 to 10 second video on a tablet or cell phone and send it to PTLGroundbreaking@gmail.com. Participants may pose with a shovel, making a toast, dancing, giving a thumbs up, just waving, posing with your favorite book โ whatever feels right. These visuals will be compiled and shared with the community as part of the virtual groundbreaking ceremony.
Photos should be sent no later than May 31 to ensure inclusion. The Peterborough Library belongs to the community, and all are encouraged to be involved in this historic celebration!
