America Reads is a wonderful program of the Monadnock RSVP Volunteer Center. I became a volunteer four years ago at the Rindge Memorial School working with an excellent first grade teacher. I tutor the children in reading skills and other literacy activities. My time spent with the children is the highlight of my week.
