To the editor:

The front-page article in Thursday, March 5th’s paper was certainly one-sided, and such allegations should have been investigated before the article was printed.

I have always trusted the Ledger-Transcript, but this article felt like defamation of character.

It may have been Dublin’s former Town Administrator, Sherry Miller’s, truth, and her daughter’s, truth, but it certainly was not our truth. My husband and I have always been treated with respect and cheerfulness by Jeannine Dunne. She knows the job and does it well. Why would we ever cast a vote against her for a young inexperienced person who would need hours of training?

Jeannine Dunne is an elected official, therefore not under the jurisdiction of the Selectman’s office. It appears, from what we have seen, that this was an irritation to the previous Town Administrator, who seemed to want to micromanage the Town Clerk. Ms. Dunne is in no need of micromanaging.
