To the editor:

I have read the comments of the few that are misinformed going around on Facebook about our Select Board and its decision for restructuring of the ambulance chief’s position to that of an administrator position.

I do not believe the attacks by some are warranted or are helpful. The Select Board is bound by laws when it comes to an employee of the town not to discuss the actions taken in a nonpublic session.

The Select Board spends many hours researching the topics that come before them. They are responsible to the citizens of town not just a few selected individuals who feel that they know all the facts. This misinformation not only creates an undue and unwarranted worry to all of the towns that the Wilton, Lyndeborough, Temple Ambulance serves it is an injustice to all that seek to volunteer in their respective communities.
