The Greenfield Historical Society will present an evening of dining out and two live radio dramas performed on stage by the Greenfield Players on Saturday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at the Greenfield Meeting House.

Return to the days of thrills and adventure, as the Players go back to when radio was king.

First up is Yours Truly Johnny Dollar, the man with an action packed expense account, in “Murder Is A Merry Go-round”. Dollar was one of the most popular detective shows on radio running from 1954 to 1960.

After Johnny solves another mystery, you’ll be treated to Candy Matson, radios finest female detective, starring in “The Case Of The Black Cat”. Matson was a ground breaking character as radio’s only female detective, airing from 1949 to 1951.

Join for a fun evening of good food, entertainment and two classic whodunits.

Cost is $20, or $35 per couple. Call (603) 547-3451 to reserve tickets and for additional information. All proceeds to benefit the Greenfield Historical Society.
