The Gallery at the Offices at Depot Square celebrates the coming of spring with nine artist’s perception of Art In Bloom during open house reception during First Friday, March 6 at 5 p.m.

Celebrate the artists’ perceptions and visuals of nature and the emotions that inspire them. Artists’ level of experience range from recently self-taught, to midlife discovery, to working in the business of art. The exhibit will be on display from March 6 through May 30 and will be open for public viewing Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At the opening reception, artists will be available to talk with guests about their work, creative methods, and use of materials and inspirations. The exhibit is at the Gallery in the Offices at Depot Square, next door to Hobbs Jewelers on the third floor (there is an elevator for accessibility). Complimentary refreshments will be served and there will be live music provided by Eve Pierce, a singer-songwriter ukulelist who writes music about humans, gods, and snakes. Pierce is a Peterborough native and has been singing and performing in the area since a young age. Her single “Snake Song” is available for purchase digitally and she is in the process of recording her first album, coming out this May.

The artists include Cindy Heath, Linda Greenwood, Joe Caracappa, Harikleia Harriet Kuliopulos, Daniel Saccardo, Amy McGregor-Radin, Lily Featherston, Johniene Papandreas and Karen Fortier.

Several events are scheduled during the exhibit and are free and open to the public. For information on events, follow the Gallery on Facebook or visit shoppeterboroughnh.com.
