My name is Brenda Lashua and I am running for Rindge Town Clerk. I have been a resident for 22 plus years and absolutely love it here. I do possess the skills and experience to become the next Town Clerk.

I have worked for 40 years in customer service and in administrative positions allowing me to have the following qualifications:

■Associates in Business – Graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Dean’s List, National Honor Society Member, Magna Cum Laude

■Customer Service consisting of face-to-face and phone interaction

■Microsoft Office, many certificates in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

■Proficient in many computer software programs and have ability to learn quickly all programs that are business or job specific

■Classes Completed: Leadership Development and Teambuilding, Human Resources, Communications Skills

■Ethics and Compliance

■Superb organizational skills

■Very high attention to detail

■Accounting skills

■Responsible for managing multiple projects, objectives and deadlines

■Problem Solving including skills to allow me to change perception as data is obtained

My personal accomplishments to community:

■Member of Rindge Crime Watch

■Honorary Member of Rindge Veteran’s Association

■Volunteered for 20 years before becoming Secretary for POOR

■Volunteered time through car events to raise money for American Cancer Society, Veteran organizations and other causes

■Have had numerous articles written in the Ledger and Chamber of Commerce newsletter commending my hard work in the community

I can assure you that I will be an great attribute! I will bring respect to the residents of Rindge and it will be an honor to serve as Town Clerk. Vote on March 10 for Brenda Lashua.
