The annual Ice Fishing Derby on Contoocook Lake is scheduled to be held this Sunday.
The contest will run from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fishermen can register at the derby on Contoocook Lake at the Jaffrey Public Beach from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pre-registration can be done at Pelletier’s Sport Shop in Jaffrey.
The entry fee for the derby is $10 per person. Prizes of fishing equipment will be awarded to the best catches of the day.
All pre-registration contestants will be entered into a raffle to win a Jiffy power auger.
