Cheshire Medical Center has welcomed Samantha Maughan to its department of Rheumatology. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in a variety of clinical settings and will assist patients in adapting to living with chronic disease as well as the treatment of psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjögrens syndrome, gout and polymyalgia rheumatica.

She holds Master of Science in Nursing from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Rheumatology Department’s mission is to provide the highest level of comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of systemic inflammatory conditions. This care is delivered by a board certified rheumatologist or certified associate provider in a calm, compassionate, cost-effective, evidence-based and team-oriented manner to achieve the highest quality and satisfaction for our patients.
