The Snow Ball contra returned to the Peterborough Town House on Saturday. The annual dance runs from noon to midnight and attracts dancers from throughout New England and beyond. Contra dances are social dances that follow music and steps that were sometimes sometimes sometimes centuries old with strong roots in the Monadnock Region.
