The Dublin Community Center will host a Private Art Collection Silent Auction starting with a reception on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The sale features 17 paintings previously owned by former Dublin residents who donated them to support the programs at the DubHub. The framed original paintings include watercolors, oils and pastels of mostly New England scenes. Artists in this sale include: John Boyington, Kitty Cloud , David Dodge, Robin Frisella, Betty Giroux, Margaret Howard, Connie Meisner, Diane Nichols , Giffin Russell, Deborah Sheldon, Frankie Tolman and Ellie Young.
The show will open for viewing and bidding on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m., and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon. The silent auction ends at noon on Friday, Dec. 20, with pickup of purchases on Monday, Dec. 23. The DubHub is located at 1123 Main St. in Dublin.
