The Chamber Singers of Keene present an Anniversary Concert: Celebrating 25 Years with Favorites by Charpentier, Durante, and more

Under the direction of Patty Meyer, the performance will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13 in the sanctuary of St. James Episcopal Church, 44 West St. in Keene.

The concert will feature some of the group’s favorite repertoire from its first 25 years, including Marc‐Antoine Charpentier’s Midnight Mass for Christmas, Francesco Durante’s Magnificat, Robert Lucas Pearsall’s arrangement of the traditional carol In dulci jubilo, and works by Josef Rheinberger and Alberto Favero.

Singers will be accompanied by violins, viola, cello, and organ. The string players are performers in orchestras and chamber ensembles from the Greater Brattleboro area as well as the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts. The organist is a local musician from Winchester.

Tickets are $12 in advance (available from Chamber Singers of Keene members and at the Keene Toadstool Bookshop) and $15 at the door. Admission is free with student ID.
