To the editor:
My name is Laura Lynch and I live in Temple, New Hampshire. I am supporting Elizabeth Warren.
I feel a kinship to her as a woman, a mom and a nana. I feel that she sees the needs of families.
Her mother had to go to work to take care of her family because her husband became disabled. I relate to this because my mother had to do the same. When I was 13 my father was severely injured on the job and my mother had to go to work full time, to take care of her family, take care of her home, and to keep us moving forward. She knew what she needed to do and she worked really hard to get it. She did not let anything stop her.
My mom is a role model to me and because of her, as a single parent I was able to take control of my life and keep my family moving forward. I see the same in Elizabeth.
She knows how hard it is to juggle the demands of work and taking care of your family – and she’s built her campaign around policies that would make it easier to do so. She is a role model to all of us.
It is time we elected a woman who knows the challenges our families face. I believe Elizabeth Warren is that woman.
