Several locals were indicted in the Cheshire County Superior Court in October.
Robert J. Gentile, 54, of Keene was indicted on two counts of criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, after allegedly threatening to injure or kill another person with a baseball bat and chair in Jaffrey on Sept. 12. Both charges are Class B felonies.
Gentile was also indicted on a charge of habitual offender — driving after certification committed while on bail, for allegedly driving a vehicle on Stratton Road in Jaffrey on Sept. 15 after being certified as a habitual offender. The charge is a Class B felony.
Justin A. Kidd, 42, of Bloomington, Indiana was indicted on one count of domestic violence — second degree assault and two counts of domestic violence, after allegedly strangling his domestic partner, threatening her with a knife and pinning her on a bed in Dublin on Oct. 1.
The charges are Class B felonies.
Theresa Chase, 30, of Jaffrey was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled drug after allegedly posssessing crack cocaine in Marlborough on July 1.
Alexander D. Lamboy, 28, of Leominster, Massachusetts was indicted one two counts of possession of a controlled drug and one count of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute after allegedly possessing crack cocaine, codeine and fentanyl in Jaffrey on Sept. 13. The possession charges are Class B felonies and the intent to distribute charge is a special felony.
An indictment is a formal accusation against an individual suspected of committing a crime. It is not an indication of guilt or innocence.
