Authors at Toadstool Bookshop in Peterborough Saturday
On Saturday, Oct. 26 at 11 a.m., John Brighton will sign and discuss “The Forgotten County: A Story of Community, Family, and Friendship” at the Toadstool Bookshop in Peterborough, in which he writes of growing up in the 1960s and 1970s in Peterborough and at the old hill farm his parents purchased in Washington.
A 2 p.m., Eric Stanway, compiler of the strange and bizarre stories of New England brings his latest creation just in time for Halloween “Satan’s Kingdom and Other Weird Stories from the Bay State”. Learn about the other woman murdered by axe in Fall River, dinosaur tracks, a haunted supermarket, the sad ending of John Hancock, and where is and why is it Satan’s Kingdom?
