Award-winning children’s furniture manufacturer Whitney Brothers recently announced the company increased its production workforce by 20% and launched a second shift to help meet rising sales demand for its products.
Over the past five years, several of the company’s products have earned prestigious design awards, including the Learning magazine’s 2020 Teachers’ Choice Award for Preschool.
“This is the busiest we’ve been in 115 years,” said Mike Jablonski, company president. “Typically we see a predictable roll-off after the busy back-to-school season goes through, but not this year. It’s unprecedented, and we’re still looking for talent.”
