From the picturesque vistas of Mount Washington to the sweeping dunes of Provincetown, artists have painted these peaceful scenes for centuries.
In a collection of antique paintings at Fry Fine Art, Morris Hall Pancoast, Alfred Thompson Bricher, Guy Wiggins, Bernard Corey, and others present their perspective, and with the stroke of a brush, were able to Discover New England.
An opening reception will be held Friday, Oct. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibit will run through the end of the year.
