A two-car motor vehicle crash on Route 202 resulted in a pickup truck rolled over in front of South Meadow School in Peterborough Tuesday afternoon.
Police Chief Scott Guinard said his department was summoned to the scene at 1:35 p.m. A 2004 Honda Civic, operated by Cheryl Wilder, 57, of Jaffrey, was turning left onto Route 202 southbound from the stop sign on Pheasant Road, when the car collided with a 2003 Ford Ranger traveling northbound on 202. The truck, driven by Carl Hagstrom, 74, of Fitzwilliam, rolled onto the driver’s side.
Guinard said there was moderate damage to the vehicles, both of which needed to be towed from the site. He said there were no injuries.
Since the truck was blocking the entrance to South Meadow Middle School, students were walked up to ConVal High School to board buses.
