Soosen Dunholter is the featured artist at the Dublin Community Center during the month of September. There will be an opening reception on Friday, Sept. 6, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Dunholter looks for the visual poetry in the world. It is the “wabi-sabi” of the landscape, accepting things as they are, that interests her. The work shown in “West to East” is a snapshot of life along Route 101 in New Hampshire, as well as the Camino de Santiago, or GR 65, long-distance walking route in France. Dunholter regularly travels on 101 from Peterborough to Keene, where her children live. And she undertook the 450 kilometer hike in France this past spring. “Like my daily practice of walking, or ‘wayfaring,’ I find the process of creating art similarly meditative. By taking each activity one step at a time – with no concern or plan for my destination in either experience – I remain grounded in the present moment” Dunholter wrote.

The DubHub is located at 1123 Main St. in Dublin.
