So many people to thank for helping with the 103 rd Annual Summer Fair in Jaffrey Center!
The First Church sponsors the Fair but more than half of the 75 leaders, workers, and donors come from the greater Jaffrey and Monadnock area communities.
In keeping with tradition, one-half of the $8,000 net proceeds are donated back to local social service and non-profit agencies.
Our thanks go to the individuals who gave of their time, effort, or cash to make the Fair a success. Whether it is by financial contribution, merchandise donation, manual labor, sales, or purchases, we appreciate your support. Counselors from Camp Wanocksett, Scouts from Jaffrey Troop 33, and girls from Camp Wa-Klo all provided valuable assistance. Corporate donors include Monadnock Disposal, Belletetes, Hill Family Insurance, Hampsey & Grenier Real Estate, Despres Real Estate, Tieger Real Estate, Coll’s Garden Center, and Daffodils Flower Shop.
Many thanks for your generosity. Cody Gordon and his employees from Gordon Services once again provided the man-power to move tables, chairs, and materials essential to Fair preparation and clean up. These heavy items are now beyond the capability of most senior Fair workers and the whole event is dependent on this wonderful community service and goodwill offered by Cody and his band of able-bodied strongmen.
