To the editor:
If you have visited us at 9 Vose Farm Road or gone past our play yard you may have seen the lovely variegated grasses and beautiful flowers blooming all in a row along the fencing.
All of us at The River Center want to send a huge thank you to Sue Poplin of Jaffrey for being the driving force behind making this garden a reality. We are no less appreciative of the following hardy crew of volunteers who sourced and built raised beds, designed plant placement and filled the gardens with dirt: Andy Wallenstein, Sue Yantiss, Jim Poplin, Tina Kriebel, and Kelli Tourgee.
Their efforts have made the play yard a more welcoming and delightful place for the children and families to visit. Many hands make light work, indeed!
