A couple of years ago when I was the Commander of VFW Post 5613 in Jafftey, we voted to donate Howard Park to the Town, after maintaining it for 60 years.
I was under the impression that the wayside area would be maintained and utilized as the beautiful area that it is. I was very displeased to read in the paper that Jaffrey’s Town Manager felt it unnecessary to replace the vandalized picnic tables. The score vandals 1 Jafftey 0.
