To the editor:
On behalf of the Antrim-Bennington Food Pantry, I would like to express our appreciation for the generous combination of both monetary and nonperishable food items gathered from the Second Annual Antique Car Show, which took place at Sawyer Field in Bennington located off Route 202, on June 9, then graciously delivered by Joe Macgregor right to our door at Antrim Baptist Church.
We are thankful for all those who organized this event. Because of your hands and your hearts we were able to help those who cannot always help themselves.
The Antrim/Bennington Food Pantry operates by donations from local businesses and residents.
The last several months we have seen a significant growth with the number of recipients served weekly.
It is always, with great honor, we are able to serve our community because of such generosity.
