Creative Ventures Gallery, 411 Nashua St. in Milford, is presenting its second annual Student Art Show & Sale during the month of July.
An open house will be held Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to noon, where voting will take place for the three peoples choice awards.
“The show offers a wonderful opportunity to see the amazing range of work from our students,” said Creative Ventures owner Betsy Craumer. “You’ll see proud entries from artists ranging in age from teens to elders.”
The exhibit will feature both current students and ones who took classes during this year with more 30 expected to participate.
The daytime reception for the Student Art Show & Sale promises to be a festive showcase featuring drawing, oil, watercolor and pastel media, along with acrylic, sculpture and Zentangle created in CVG classes. Light refreshments including a summer punch will be served.
The CVG also offers First Friday events that include attractions such as guest speakers and demonstrations.
