The Winchendon Music Festival continues with a trio of concerts this weekend at the Winchendon History & Cultural Center.
On Friday, June 28, Jennifer Ashe (soprano) and Christina Wright-Ivanova (piano) make their festival debut with classical/contemporary works by Erik Satie, Carl J. Antonellis, John Harbison, Michael Finnissy, and others.
On Saturday, June 29, Randall Scotting, Andrew Arceci and Winchendon Music Festival artists will play a baroque program featuring works by Antonio Vivaldi, George Frideric Handel, Nicolร Porpora, Johann Adolph Hasse, and others.
And to cap off the weekend on Sunday, June 30, the Mehmet Ali Sanlฤฑkol Trio play a concert of contemporary jazz, Turkish, and world music, joined by James Heazlewood-Dale (bass) and George Lernis (drums/percussion).
All programs are free and begin at 7 p.m.
