Suzanne Hunter, 76, of Peterborough was traveling south on Concord Street on Wednesday afternoon around 3:30 p.m., when her 2012 Ford Escape drifted to the right, striking a utility pole, Peterborough Police Chief Scott Guinard said Wednesday. There was front end damage to the vehicle, which was towed from the scene, and damage to the utility pole. Hunter was the only occupant of the vehicle and was not seriously injured.
