A Bennington man is being arraigned in the Hillsborough County Superior Court this afternoon on felony charges of aggravated sexual assault.
Brandon Guillemette, 29, was arrested on a warrant by Bennington police Tuesday on four felony charges – aggravated felonious sexual assault, witness tampering, criminal threatening and reckless conduct.
Guillemette was booked at the Bennington Police Department. He was held on $10,000 cash bail and taken to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections in Manchester to await arraignment at the Hillsborough County Superior Court in Manchester, which is set to take place today at 1:30 p.m.
“At this time this case remains under investigation and more charges may be forthcoming,” Bennington Police Chief Brett Sullivan said in a press release.
Due to the ongoing investigation, Sullivan declined to release additional information about the case.
