No one was injured after a propane truck rolled over in Greenfield on Tuesday evening.

The truck, driven by Patrick Miller, 30, of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, was traveling south on Sawmill Road near American Steel Fabricators around 5 p.m. when it started to slide due to poor road conditions, Greenfield Police Sergeant Glenn Roberge said Thursday afternoon.

Roberge said Miller lost control of the vehicle, causing the propane truck to cross into the northbound lane and into a ditch, which caused the vehicle to roll onto its side.

“The road was covered in snow and slush,” Roberge said.

Despite rolling onto its side, there were no leaks or spills.

Sawmill Road was closed for about three hours while the vehicle was hooked up to a wrecker, Roberge said.
