Two people received minor injuries in a crash at the intersection of Parmalee Drive and Route 202 in Peterborough Wednesday morning.

Alan Everson, 75, of Sharon was waiting at the stop sign at the end of Parmalee Drive, waiting to take a left-hand turn onto Route 202, Peterborough Police Chief Scott Guinard said.ย

At the same time, Shaun Berge, 40, of Keene, driving a 2010ย Ford Crown Victoria taxi, owned by to Adventure Transportation of Swanzey, was traveling on Route 202 and made a left onto Parmalee Drive.

The Ford collided with Eversonโ€™s 1992 Toyota. The taxi was undamaged, and the Toyota had a broken headlamp.

Everson had an injury to his head, and a passenger in the taxi had an injury to her elbow, according to Guinard, but both refused medical treatment and were not taken to the hospital. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.ย
