Four people were sent to the hospital after a two-car crash in Rindge Saturday.

Police responded to the intersection of Route 202 and Perkins Road around 2:20 p.m. for the two-car, t-bone style collision, according to the Rindge Police Department.

A 37-year-old female from Rindge was driving a 2016 Toyota Camry southbound on 202 when she struck a 2003 Nissan Rogue, driven by a 68-year-old female from North Stonington, Connecticut, on its driverโ€™s side, police said. Each vehicle had one passenger.

Police would not release the names of the drivers or passengers on Wednesday. The accident remains under investigation.

The Camry had front end damage and the Rogue had driverโ€™s side damage. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Several passersby assisted the responding Rindge police officer with the crash scene until other emergency personnel arrived.
