A Dublin man was killed in a trail bike accident that occurred on a dirt road in Antrim Wednesday morning.

New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is investigating the fatal crash on Liberty Farm Road in Antrim, that occurred around 11:20 a.m., Fish and Game said in a press release Wednesday.

Antrim police, fire and ambulance units along with mutual aid from Bennington and Peterborough responded to the single motorcycle crash on the Class VI portion of the road.

Frank Colon, 52, of Dublin and a friend were out for a ride and Colon was operating his 2016 Enduro motorcycle north on Liberty Farm Road toward the town of Windsor, Fish and Game said, “and for an unknown reason, he lost control of the bike and crashed along the trail.”

“Mr. Colon was an avid rider and was wearing a helmet and other safety gear. The vehicle suffered minor damage and a mechanical inspection will be conducted. There were no other vehicles no passengers involved,” Fish and Game said.

Fish and Game continues to investigate the crash, however, but said alcohol or drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash.
