RINDGETalk on Hitler March 21

Rick Sirvint will present “Interpretations of Adolf Hitler” at Ingalls Memorial Library in Rindge on Tuesday, March 21 from 4to 5 p.m.

The talk will review both biographies of Hitler and specialized interpretations of his life including whether he was homosexual, his antisemitism, views on propaganda, the role of art in his career, his relationship to Eva Braun, whether or not he was insane, and whether he had planned to invade America.

The continued popularity of Hitler’s ideas will be discussed in the context of rising antisemitism in America, Europe, and the U.N. Iran’s leader recently called for the destruction of Israel.

The talk will be of interest to people who would like recommendations as to which books to read about Hitler based upon the best research of the past and recent years.

Rick Sirvint taught about Nazi Germany for forty years and knew many people who lived in Nazi-occupied Europe.
