The purpose of this letter is our way of supporting our present town clerk/tax collector, Jeannine Dunne, in her bid for re-election this March.
In my capacity as assistant to the town administrator for three years, I was given the opportunity to observe first-hand the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities of the position Jeannine holds and the manner in which she attends to and assists those who arrived at her station. The same could be said for her ability to manage the numerous phone inquiries she receives throughout the day. Jeannine is always willing to look into other sources of information in order to present the correct answers for the questions asked. She has been doing this job for nine years now, and I sense few are aware of the many classes and seminars Jeannine has attended in order to glean new information and procedures which the state mandates.
Several years ago, I ran against Jeannine for this position. After seeing all that it entails, I’m glad I didn’t win!
Please vote for Jeannine Dunne, town clerk/tax collector for the town of Dublin. She has the experience and knowledge on which we rely.
