A family collage workshop, led by Mona Adisa Brooks, will be held at Trumpet Fine Arts Gallery on three consecutive Thursday evenings, from 6 to 8 p.m. beginning March 15.
Participants will be using family photographs and mixed media to create their legacy story. Students will be asked to bring black-and-white copies of original photos of family members. Any other materials that inspire as one considers a family member; e.g.; fabric or sewing materials, can also be used.
Participants will have the opportunity to show their legacy collage in a special gallery show at Trumpet Gallery, located at 8 Grove St. in Peterborough. Space is limited for this hands-on workshop.
