Dublin School snow sports had a busy day competing in three different events.

The Nordic ski team travelled to Proctor Academy and took on many of the top New England Preparatory Schools in a day of mass start classic racing. For the second consecutive week, Dublin School boys triumphed over the nine school field placing its four top skiers in the top 11 of the race. The podium was dominated by Dublin with seniors Calvin Bates and GH Werowinski finishing first and second. Dublin scoring was closed out by freshman Quinn Wilson 7th and senior Ryan Hyde 11th. Dublinโ€™s point total of 21 was 31 points ahed of the second place finisher.

On the girls side, Dublin finished in second place 13 points behind the winner. Sophomore Lilly Bates won the race and was supported by freshman Aggie Macy 4th; Junior Robyn McIntosh and Sophomore Sita Moses 28th. Batesโ€™ finish time of 16:58 would have put her in 10th place in the boys race.

At Crotched Mountain, the Dublin Alpine Ski team hosted a three team slalom race against powerful teams from Holderness School and Proctor Academy. On the girls side, Freshman Mya Kerwin dominated her race, winning both runs to be the first Dublin girl to win a ski race against this level of competition. In a long 56 gate slalom course, Kerwin came out at the top winning by .91 seconds overall. Following Mya was Freshman Caitlin Hegarty in fifteenth and Sophomore Grace Stone in nineteenth. Sophomore Laura Coffin skiing well was fifteenth on her first run but was disqualified on her second run.

On the boys side, Junior Sean Brown took sixth and Junior Silas Howe followed in ninth. Brown and Howe were supported by strong showings from Freshman Reed Brencher 11th and Junior Nick Runyon 15th.

Finally, on another slope at Crotched, the Snowboard team hosted a slope style competition. Top Dublin finishers included Senior Alexander โ€œAJโ€ Simpson 4th, Senior Emil Hristache 5th, Junior Garret Autera, and Junior Jack Pearce . Top finishers on the girls side were Senior Lucy Martin 5th and Freshman Imogen Von Mertens 7th.
