Select Board Chair Lee Mayhew’s term will be up this year, for those who would like to throw their hat in the ring. The Select Board has a three-year term.
The Zoning Board has two positions up for election this year, both for three-year terms, as Chair Tom Chrisenton’s and member Walter Holt’s terms are up.
The Budget Committee has four positions that will be up this year – three for three-year terms and one for two years. Also on the ballot are positions for a cemetery trustee, a library trustee and a trustee of the trust funds, all of which are three-year terms.
The filing period for town offices is Jan. 25 through Feb. 3. Filing can be done at the Town Clerk’s office. The Lyndeborough Town Clerk will be open on the last day of filing, Feb. 3, from 3 to 5 p.m. for filing purposes only.
