The trial of a New Ipswich man accused of sexually assaulting a child in his care has been moved to a yet-to-be-determined date, according to court documents.

Jury selection for the trial of Terrence Reardon, 54, was scheduled to occur on Jan. 23 at Hillsborough Superior Court South, but was moved after a motion hearing on Jan. 5.

Reardon, who was arrested on June 26, 2015, is charged with two felony counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault and a charge of computer pornography prohibited, after he allegedly sexually assaulted a minor from March 20, 2013, to June 1, 2015, while she was in his care at his New Ipswich home. The minor was 7 years old when the incidents allegedly began.

Reardon has been out on bail since Sept. 22, 2015, after posting $10,000 cash bail.
