Junior forward Alex Brolsma set a program record with seven points (2-5-7) and matched a program record with five assists on Saturday afternoon, to lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University women’s ice hockey team in an 11-0, non-conference win at Post, at Sports Center of Connecticut. Senior forward Michelle Holmes notched her first career hat trick and added an assist for a four-point day, while the Ravens outshot Post, 66-8.

With the win, Franklin Pierce improves to 7-1-0 and has won seven in a row, while Post falls to 0-6-0. For the Ravens, it was the second straight 11-0 win over Post. Franklin Pierce has now struck for double-digit goals three times in program history.

The Ravens poured in five goals in the middle frame to balloon the lead to 9-0 and put the game well out of reach.

Junior goaltender Madison Murray stopped all eight shots she faced in her first collegiate start to pick up the win (1-0-0) and notch the shutout.

The Ravens return to the ice on Tuesday, Nov. 22, when they travel to Holy Cross for a New England Hockey Conference contest. Opening faceoff is set for 7:05 p.m. at Hart Recreation Center in Worcester, Mass.
