An evening of stargazing with the Monadnock Music String Quartet will be held at the Cathedral of the Pines on Friday, Nov. 4.
Arrival time will be 5:30 p.m. with the concert at 6 p.m., followed by desserts, wine and alcoholic hot beverages as well non-alcoholic drinks, and stargazing at 7 p.m.
Telescopes and blankets will be provided. Bring lawn chairs.
The tring quartet consists of Charles Dimmick and Katherine Winterstein, violins, Alexander Vavilov, viola, and Rafael Popper-Keizer, cello.
The music program will include Mozartโs String Serenade No. 13 in G; Haydnโs Adagio from String Quartet op. 76 No. 4; Blochโs Night for String Quartet; Borodinโs Nocturne from String Quartet No. 2 in D major; and Gershwinโs Lullaby for String Quartet.
Tickets are $25 or $45 for two persons if purchased in advance, and $30 or $55 for two if purchased at the door.
