Gilmour waswilling to listen

To the editor:

As a long-time elected official in New Ipswich, I worked with many elected state and local officials. One of these public servants was Peggy Gilmour, during her tenure as a N.H. state senator.

Peggy attended more meetings and functions in her district than most, and not just during election season. We do not share a party affiliation, and of course we had differing opinions at times, but I came to respect her willingness to listen and to answer questions as well as provide any information she could to anyone who requested it. This meant a lot both to town officials and to voters looking for answers.

Therefore, I would ask voters in this district to thoughtfully consider who would truly represent their interests and concerns, regardless of party affiliation, before casting your ballots. Thank you for your time and consideration.
