No. 12 ConVal volleyball traveled to 5th-seeded John Stark in the first round of the Division II state tournament. The Generals took the first set 25-17. The Cougars lost an eight-point lead in the second set, along with the set, 26-24. The Cougars fought back and stole the 3rd set 26-24 before losing the fourth set 25-17.
The girls played tough all night long and played as a team. Leading the team offensively were Aidan Dissinger with 11 kills, Joanna Adams with 12 assists, Abby Cail with 6 kills and 4 blocks and Riley Codman with 3 kills and 5 blocks.
The defense was lead by Dissinger with 21 digs, Mary Grossi with 15 digs, Adams with 17 digs, and Cail with 13 digs.
ConVal finished the regular season at 6-10.
