ConVal and Mascenic’s cross-country teams traveled to the Coe-Brown Black Bear nvitational in Northwood Saturday.
The ConVal girls took seventh in a tough field. Clare Veverka was 15th in 20:13, the 8th Division II runner to cross the finish line. Schuyler Michalak was 36th in 21:09 and Lucy Freeman was 38th in 21:15.
Mascenic’s girls finished in 14th place, led by Samantha Bilodeau who finished in 23rd, running 21:07. Maddie Labrie was 46th in the field at 21:27.
On the boys’ side, Jake Movsessian led Mascenic, finishing 3rd in 16:43. The Mascenic boys came in eighth.
ConVal’s boys were led by Evan Coyne (44th. 18:13).Ben Henry was 63rd in 18:38. ConVal’s boys came in 13th.
The Boynton teams also competed at Black BearBoth teams finished second, with the boys led by third placer Josh Movsessian, and the girls led by Emily Pare in 13th.
