โIf all goes well โ knock on wood โ itโll be over Friday,โ Town Administrator Rodney Bartlett said.
The maintenance project began Wednesday after some confusion about a start date. Police Chief Guinard said after the road was closed for preparations on Monday there were very few issues, according to Bartlett.
The traffic-heavy stretch of road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Fridayย and the plan is for work to be completed before the weekend.
