Exchange student Luca Haufler had two goals and assisted on the other three as the ConVal boys’ soccer team beat Merrimack Valley 5-3 on Tuesday.
Max Sturges had two goals of his own and Micah Black scored the other, and assisted on both Haufler goals.
ConVal is now 9-1, tied with Pembroke for the top spot in Division II. The Cougars have won five straight since their only blemish, a 3-0 loss to Lebanon (8-1) on Sept. 8.
ConVal travels to Conant for an interdivisional crosstown rivalry game on Friday at 4 p.m.
